Snooker Dining Table

If there is a bit of a disagreement and one person want to get a dining table where as the other person wants to get a snooker table do not worry as it is possible to get a table that can do both. The combined snooker dining tables are becoming more popular.  These tables mean that you can have a lot of fun whilst still being practical. There is a lot of people that have these table and enjoy inviting friends round for dinner and then after the meal clear the table and then enjoy a game or two of snooker. If you do not have a separate room in your house to have as a snooker room then this is a superb table to consider getting. This table would need to go in a room that is about twenty-two feet by sixteen feet if you want a full sized table. The full sized table is twelve feet. It is possible to get smaller tables, as there are seven-foot tables and also eight-foot tables that are available. These smaller tables will still enable you to have a good game of snooker.

Another thing that is very important to consider is the height of the snooker table. This table will be slightly higher than a normal dining table. In actual fact this table will be about three inches taller this could really embarrass your smaller guests, as they will find that they have to reach up to the table. Having to reach up to the table can leave your guests feeling like children again.

A good way to get around the height problem is to get one of the tables, which features a mechanism, which allows the table to rise and fall. This device will enable you to raise the table to full height when you want to lay snooker but will also allow you to lower the table when you want to use it for dining.  The tables that feature this mechanism a little more expensive but they are well worth considering. Another disadvantage of this system is that it is only available on the eight-foot table and the nine-foot table. Most of the tables feature a winding mechanism in order to work the mechanism that is concerned with the height of the table.

Another way of getting around the height problem if you would like to have one of the smaller tables is to get higher chairs. It is best to have chairs that match with the table. The chairs will of course mean extra expensive however it will certainly be worth it.

This style of table is not really that cheap and it will cost about two thousand three hundred American dollars for a seven-foot version. The larger tables will cost about nine thousand five hundred American dollars. The expenses will worth all the fun that you will get from one of these tables and with one of these tables you save money, as you do not need to purchase a separate dining table.
